Your recordings

Audio you record with our tools is captured, processed and converted to MP3 or WAV entirely in your browser. It is never uploaded to our servers or shared with anyone. The recording only exists in your browser tab’s memory until you download it or close the page.

Microphone permission

Your browser asks for permission before any page can use your microphone. You can withdraw that permission at any time in your browser’s site settings. We only use the microphone while you are recording.

Settings stored on your device

The recorder remembers your choices (selected microphone, noise filter, echo cancel and auto gain) in your browser’s local storage, so they’re ready next time. This data never leaves your device, and you can clear it by clearing site data in your browser.

Website data

Like most websites, our hosting provider may log basic technical information (such as IP address, browser type and pages visited) for security and to keep the site running. If we add analytics or advertising in the future, they may use cookies, and we will update this policy and ask for consent where the law requires it.

Contact form

If you contact us, we receive the name, email address and message you send, and use them only to reply to you.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
